AVVENN × DELPHINE LEJEUNE
Delphine Lejeune is a visual designer and material researcher from the Netherlands. Her work focuses on the intersection of Neocraft and digital nature representation. She conducts experimental research on two-dimensional and three-dimensional printed surfaces, exploring how to transform images obtained from the digital world into tangible objects through fine reformatting layers, thereby challenging the boundaries between digital and reality.
The collaborative work between AVVENN and Delphine is titled ‘Blooming Decay’, a subtle balance between death and beauty. In this world where beauty and destruction intertwine, two flowers stand quietly, witnessing the inevitable dance of creation and decay. Their once pristine petals are now gently marked by time, slightly curled, like secrets whispered in the wind. These sculptures exquisitely capture texture and flow with extreme delicacy; they are neither fully bloomed nor completely withered, existing instead on that fragile and shifting boundary, quietly portraying the process of transformation.
