Stephen Doherty graduated from Central Saint Martins in London and is one of the college's guest lecturers. Stephen specializes in using colored pencils, crayons, watercolors, and other media to convey the emotions and vitality of flowers through color. His works blend the external beauty of flowers with their inner emotions, with every stroke in the details full of feeling, as if each flower carries a different story, His creative style is favored by international brands such as Gucci, COS and Y3.
In this collaboration between AVVENN and Stephen. Stephen hopes to collectively depict the life journey of the Anemone, a flower symbolizing hope and anticipation, through these art works from the plant's initial sprouting and growth toward the light, to the proud blooming of the flower, and finally to its in evitable beauty in decline. If we view the flower's growth as a single movement-growing upward, blooming outward, and the graceful falling of petals-it resembles a dance. We hope these prints can capture this dance, this journey full of hope.
